I cried
I did something for the first time yesterday, and I cried. I helped deliver a baby. I don't think that this is an area of nursing that I want to end up in, for lots of different reasons, but there was a part of it that was incredible. It was emotional, and spiritual, and beautiful when that baby girl came into the world and took her first breaths.

Candice - when you are a nurse, I am going to have you come and talk to my class. That is exactly how I want them to feel about children - that they are such precious beings who are literally a miracle.
